Citroen C3

The Citroën C3 is a B-segment passenger car produced by the French PSA Group. The first generation debuted in 2002 at the Paris Motor Show. Built on the PF1 platform—shared with the Citroën C2, C3 Pluriel, C3 Picasso, and the Peugeot 1007 and 207—the C3 was designed by renowned automotive designer Donato Coco, who later became chief designer at Ferrari in Italy. Despite its compact dimensions, the Citroën C3 offers impressive driving comfort and is primarily designed for urban use. Its excellent manoeuvrability makes it ideal for navigating tight city streets and parking in crowded areas. Engine options for the first generation included petrol variants: 1.1L (60 hp), 1.4L (73 hp), 1.4L 16V (88 hp), and 1.6L 16V (109 hp). Diesel options featured the 1.4 HDi (68 or 90 hp) and 1.6 HDi (90 or 109 hp). In 2005, the model received a minor facelift, which brought a refreshed design and improved performance thanks to updated engines. One of the standout features of the Citroën C3 is its rich equipment list, uncommon in this segment. Standard features include ABS, airbags, power steering, and a modern audio system. In 2009, production of the first-generation C3 ended, making way for the second-generation Citroën C3 II. This updated version introduced the innovative Visiodrive panoramic windscreen, which expands the upward field of vision by 80%, creating a feeling of openness and enhancing the sense of space inside the cabin. Slightly larger than its predecessor, the new C3 also offered fuel-efficient and eco-friendly diesel engines equipped with a Stop&Start system to reduce CO₂ emissions.

The factory tyre sizes for the Citroën C3 vary by version and include: 175/65 R14, 185/65 R15, 185/60 R15, 195/50 R16, and 195/60 R15.

Optional tyre sizes that can be fitted include: 165/70 R14, 195/55 R16, and 205/45 R17.
