Fiat Seicento

The Fiat Seicento is a compact A-segment city car that succeeded the popular Fiat Cinquecento. Introduced to the market in 1998, the Seicento featured a more rounded body design, redesigned front and rear lights, updated bumpers, and a refreshed dashboard. While it shared the same platform, components, and mechanical solutions as its predecessor, the Seicento was slightly longer and taller, offering improved interior space. It was available exclusively as a three-door hatchback. Thanks to its use of cost-effective materials and simple engineering, the Seicento was priced competitively, quickly becoming a commercial success. Shortly after production began, output reached its peak, and within a year, over 250,000 units had been manufactured. Despite its compact size, the Seicento was often used as a family car. The boot offered 170 litres of space, which expanded to 810 litres with the rear seats folded down. However, the narrow rear bench could barely accommodate three passengers. Throughout its production run, the Fiat Seicento received several updates. However, the model consistently struggled with safety ratings, achieving only 1.5 stars in Euro NCAP crash tests. One of the more notable changes was the rebranding of the model to Fiat 600, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the original Fiat 600. The updated version featured four seats, offering improved comfort for rear passengers. Production of the Fiat Seicento and Fiat 600 ended in June 2010, with a total of 1,328,973 units produced.

The original tyre sizes for the Fiat Seicento are: 155/65 R13, 165/55 R13, and 175/50 R14.

Optional tyre sizes include 145/70 R13 and 165/65 R13.

These standard tyre dimensions ensure that even today, owners of the iconic Fiat Seicento can easily find compatible tyres. Winter tyres are available across all categories—economy, mid-range, and premium—making it simple to equip the Seicento for all-season driving.
