Nokian Tyres ZG2

I bought the aforementioned tyres with DOT 0812 and the problems started on the following day after fitting and balancing, the steering wheel was vibrating at 60 MPH so I went to my garage for re-balancing, it turned out that after 200 miles all wheels needed 35 grams more each. The balance was good for two days and then I went back to another garage to check my balancing, and again it was incorrect. This activity was repeated 5 times in different garages, so I decided to make a complaint of two front tyres first, and it turned out that one tyre was faulty and was replaced, now it's OK but not completely because I put back these tyres on front the situation is the same again, these tyres change balancing value constantly, which is unacceptable! I will make a complaint for two more tyres, the total disnance I made with them is 1500 miles. Read more Collapse

Although I did only one season on these tyres, I'm very satisfied, they grip well in corners and don't lose traction during sudden maneuvers. I also didn't have any problems with braking. They do sensationally on both wet and dry. I also don't have any complaints when it comes to noise level. I drive a Passat B5 FL Saloon, and the tyre size is 225/45R17, and that's why I have a mixed opinion of shock absorbing due to the tyre size. I recently did a distance of about 500 miles and the drive was sensational - I can't describe it, you just have to get in the car and feel it youself ;) The look on the S-Line wheel is brilliant. A normal tyre, stock tyres were Geolandars, very durable tyres, I did on them 120,000 miles, I use Nokians as winter tyres and got encouraged by their quality and usability, and I bought summer Nokians. They can be compared to the aforementioned ones, better traction on dry and wet surfaces, good stability and traction, and noise level - comparing to stock tyres there's a great difference as Nokians are quieter. I didn't use them off-road, but because of the difference in tread design I don't think they would do well. I recommend them for pavement driving, they give a feeling of security and stability, the car goes like on tracks. Read more Collapse

The tyres are OK! They are fitted to a Ford S-Max, which is used by my wife every day, I use it sometimes, when we go with our 3 children to the country, on holidays etc... I remember one situation on the way back from the seaside, suddenly a Fiat drove out of the woods... The tyres were new back then but avoiding a collision, and the fact we didn't ditch when avoiding an obstacle at that speed .... I think it was God's intervention, seriously... The tyres are great - compromise at the top level. Behaves well. It's hard to evaluate all parameters as I don''t drive too hard. But: - aquaplaning appears very late - very slow wear-off - the car doesn't "swerve" on dry (as stated by a racing mechanic - they keep up with the Falkens) - Fuel consumption at standard level - they look great. I have them on the rear axle, which is the drive axle. On the front I have one yer older Pirelli P7 Cinturatos. I do not know how good are they when it comes to abrasion, I'll be able to rate is when I change my tyres to winter ones. So far they provide great handling and are quiet. Great tyre - great grip in corners, good bump absorbing, I did 15 000 miles with a 220 BHP car. Tyre wear is insignificant, a sensational tyre in this price range, I recommended two sets to my friends and they're very satisfied. I recommend! Read more Collapse

Pretty good tyre. I expected that it to be a little bit quieter. Previously I had SportContacts 2 and 3 which are better than Nokians, but the advantage of Nokian is its price (they cost me 125 pounds, and continentals 3 cost 350 pounds). Read more Collapse

Very good, quiet tyre with fantastic behaviour in the rain. A little hard, but XL marked tyres have such attributes, driving comfort improves when tyres are inflated with nitrogen. Read more Collapse

Tires in size 215/45 R17. Previously I had ContiSportContact 3's hard to compare them because they were already old and you know tires wear out slowly. Pros: 1 Nokia surprised me considerable comfort and attenuation inequality. I have a slightly lowered suspension, tires quite low even though it does not ride like a wagon. It's much better than the CSC3 (but old). 2 Low noise. The car is much quieter than the previous tires. 3.Jazda in the rain. He rides almost the same as on dry asphalt. Very good hold. 4 Cool look and wear indicator :) Cons: 1 When I set up the new Nokia car performed much better than the old CSC3. But there are no revelations. I tested it a bit and the sudden braking maneuvers with uślizgiwały up. Fast cornering also does not knock, but for normlanej ride is great. But I was expecting something more. It seems to me that the new CSC3 were better. 2 Inhibition. During hard braking on some asphalt quickly lose traction and ABS is activated. To sum. Very good tires for as reasonable money. Very good tire. Great road holding and it is not surprising zachowaniem.Przewidywalna unpredictable in the wet, although it has slightly worse traction. Draws attention to the high durability. After one season, minimal wear. I have tires manufactured in Finland, is important to me because I give a chance to a good quality. The difference in price between what's right, not top shelf, but still classy premium and Chinese budżetówkami was about 100 zł per unit, so I preferred to choose ZG2. I changed the original tires (Toyota do not know why I assumed weak Geolandary to RAV), and then ... it turned out that I have a pretty comfortable car! And quiet and softly overcome inequality and well-negotiating ruts. Even my minor child noticed the difference. A visit to the factory vulcanization (in quite another matter) began with the words of the master: "Why do you come to me ..." as soon as glanced at my tires. In general, Nokian ZG2 is great tyre. It can not surpass with Eagle F1 Assymetric or S001, but certainly are in very good price. It is nice that the manufacturer put the digits of the tire tread wear, so rulers are not needed. Nokian ZG2 behave properly on the bends. Braking is rather good. They behave very good on wet surfaces and Nokian ZG2 are perhaps a little worse than Continentale CSC5, although here the differences are rather marginal. Read more Collapse

I bought Nokian ZG2 before I found out how spectacular are Nokian winter tyres. Nokian ZG2 are great - although they smoetimes make appear, that they are too soft. I tried other tyres from well known companies and I'm still wondering why those slippers were so expensive, and better Nokian are in so good price. Read more Collapse

Most impressive is driving during the rain, Nokian ZG2 are very good tyres and I fully recommend them. I have no fear to drive at a high speed, because car holds the road safely and react to every move I make. In dry conditions Nokian ZG2 have very good grip, specially on the bends. I fully recommend NokianZG2. They are quiet, great on the wet surfaces. Nokian ZG2 have no fethering effect as most of tyres. I don't like only their appearance (in the pictures they look great). Read more Collapse

Tires very well they keep the road in August. The computer shows the higher combustion than in winter 205/55/16 but it may be the fault of larger and wider tires. Tires recommendable. Read more Collapse
