    Opinion from outside the UK

I sought for appropriate tyres for a long time. I considered buying Dunlop Sportmaxx RTs, Vredestein Ultrac Centos, and Nokian ZG2s. I read the reviews, analyzed the tests in automotive press and chose Nokian ZG2s. Nokian had sensational resulats in all tests, and that persuaded me to purchase them but after driving a few hundred miles I can say that it was a mistake! The tyre is hard, not very comfortable and the car "bounces" on bumps. As for performance on wet, I can't comment because I haven't driven in these conditions on these tyres yet. The desing also isn't perfect, and polished grooves are just a marketing trick. If I was to buy new tyres again, the choice would be Dunlop Sportmaxx. This tyre is relatively soft and thanks to that absobrs bumps well. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I got them with my wheels in size 215/45/17 91 Y XL. As for the driveability and behavious, the car does well on both dry and wet pavement, quick starting, hard braking gets a 5. The only drawback of these tyres is as one of the users wrote: "The one thing that put me off them and make me certainly not want to buy more of them is that thy have cracked in many places and they look like they're 10 years old." My tyres are from 2008, and a year ago (after three seasons) the edges of the tyres looked horrible, like that rubber was cracked and stored incorrectly. Now one got damaged, and the time has come to buy something else :) Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I considered the purchase of proper tyres for a long time because the tyres for a Galaxy are specific. I ready many articles, analyzed, searched for inormations and specifications. I know these tyres are really excellent. I drive fast, my car's heavy but powerful, and the tyres allow the car to go like on tracks. A great advantage is is the level of noise, or the lack of it, to be exact. All you can hear is quiet humming. The have great grip on wet, and driving line during braking on wet is also preserved. Scandinavians once again proved that if they do something, they do it well. I recommend. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I'ts a great tyre! Please read the quote from the description of Oponeo. "Nokian ZG2 tyres are also characterized by high aesthetics of manufacturing. Due to polished main grooves they will add elegance to any car." Unfortunately, it's a lie, not only the grooves aren't polished :)) but there are also post-production residues left on sides of the tread - it looks like a retreaded tyre. Such tyre shouldn't have such things left, especially since the photo and description indicates that it is very nicely made tyre. Read more Collapse

45 000 miles made on thewm fitted to an A6 3.0 TDI quattro. Maybe it's because of the drive type but they grip perfectly. Starting, cornering, braking on both wet and dry is quite same, and my driving style is rather dynamic. Besides, after 25 000 miles they have more thread than Michelins (Primacy HP) on my wife's car. I definitely recommend. Read more Collapse

I bought 215/55/17 tyres. Excellent handling, it doesn't matter whether it's wet or dry. The only drawback was the appearance of the tyre. The part about the tyre being elegant should be considered a fairy tale - post-production ruber residues are everywhere and there's no sign of the polished grooves :) Read more Collapse

Excellent tyres, price-quality ratio is very attractive. The tyre looks nice and behaves well on the road. I checked it for quick drives over big puddles, and there's no aquaplaning. What annoys me is that small stones keep getting into the thread, as they asnnoyingly click on the asphalt. Read more Collapse

I bought them recently, compared to the Michelins fitted to my A6 when I bought it, Nokians are very quiet and comfortable. Opinion from outside the UK

The first visual impression is very favorable. On the side of the tire can be seen niedocięte "fringes" of rubber from the manufacturing process. The inscription is small and difficult to read. They look like a bit like tires leveling. The second concern raised inscription "Made in Russia", a small, shamefully hidden. The fear, however unfounded. On the balancer, sentencing 20/40g, or by words vulcanizer normal. Problems of balancing was not. But looks are not everything, what the best part is invisible. Time for the pros. The tire very well lead to dry and the wet. Great holds eg when cornering fast overcoming overpasses on highways. Feel large border security. Does not break traction when accelerating, as often happened in the Michelin Alpin A4 winter. ESP has very little to do. Price: 407 PLN for 17 "is a very good price for a branded tire. Summarize I am very pleased with my purchase. Recommend! Read more Collapse

This is my third Nokia, and the first in Russia, and for this reason last. After driving 45000 km tire wear index 2 (!). Very good grip in the wet. So what. Corrosion on external rubber pads in the spring after the change of trouble with balancing - it turns out that 2 of the 4 tires grew ovate ("beating" vertical 1 cm), which is czteronapędowym car trouble. Opinion after 1 season. Nokian ZG2 has quite a soft side wall as for UHP tyre. This fact makes it more comfortable than the other tyres from competitive brands (Bridgestone RE51A). Nokian ZG2 is quiet and well discharged water. Wear indicator shows (after the 15 000 miles) 7mm front rear (new have 10mm). They are quiet and well remove water.
