185/80 R16 Tyres

185/80 R16 tyres are installed in passenger cars (often those considered antique). The size of the tyre can be seen on its side. It is presented with the help of strings of numbers and a letter which denotes the type of tyre construction ("R" - radial construction). The first number informs about the tread width of the 185/80 R16 tyre and it is provided in millimetres (185 mm). The second number equals the percentage ratio of the tyre's profile height to its tread width. In the case of the 185/80 R16 it is 80% out of 185 mm.
