Riken is a Japanese brand founded in 1917. The company manufactures economy class tyres for passenger cars, SUVs, light commercial vehicles and trucks. The Riken brand has emerged in the awareness of customers worldwide, exporting tyres to foreign markets. In 1997, the company was acquired by Michelin, and has been owned by them ever since.

205/45 R16 Tyres

205/45 R16 tyres are designed for dynamic family cars and executive cars. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall alongside other labels. The first number informs about the tread width of the tyre and it is provided in millimetres (in this case 205 mm). The second number equals the percentage ratio of the tyre's profile height to its tread width, here, e.g. 45% out of 205 mm. The third number provides in inches the diameter of the wheel rim on which the 205/45 R16 tyre should be installed while the "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
