The Michelin Group is the largest European tyre manufacturer and one of the world leaders in its industry. The company is famous for innovative solutions and brands that are trusted by customers. The company was established in France in 1889 by Michelin brothers. Currently, the group has as many as 72 production plants in 19 countries (it has been present in Poland since 1994, and its factory is located in Olsztyn). For many years, the company supplied tyres for Formula 1 – it withdrew after the end of the 2006 season.

235/85 R16 Tyres

275/70 R16 tyres are designed for delivery vehicles and 4x4s. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall where it is provided in a form of a string of signs. The first number informs about the tread width of the 235/85 R16 tyre, in this case it is 235 mm. The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width. In the case of the 235/85 R16 tyre it is 85% out of 235 mm. The third number provides in inches the diameter of the wheel rim on which the 235/85 R16 tyre should be installed. The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
