x Reinforced tyres

Every tyre has a load index. This value is determined by the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation. Reinforced tyres have higher carriage than standard and can therefore easily meet the requirements of vehicles that bear heavier loads.

x Run Flat Tyres

Run Flat tyres allow you to keep driving after a pressure loss. It is possible to drive with a punctured tyre for around 50 miles at a maximum speed of 50 mph.

Tyre size 255/70 R15

255/70 R15 tyres are installed in passenger cars, delivery vehicles and 4x4s. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall where it is provided in a form of a string of signs. The tread width of the tyre is provided in millimetres by the first number in the tyre size label (here it is 255 mm). The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width. For the 255/70 R15 tyre model it is 70% out of 255 mm. The R15 marks the radial construction type of the tyre ("R") and the diameter of the wheel rim in on which the tyres should be installed. See the 255/70 R15 tyre model in our broad selection.
