Avon tyres originate from The United Kingdom. The company's history starts in the end of the 19th century. In 1997 the brand became a part of the American Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Since 2000 the high quality of Avon tyres allowed them to be provided to the F2000 Championships in the USA. 235/70 R15 Tyres

235/70 R15 tyres are designed for passenger cars, 4x4s and delivery vehicles. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall in a form of a string of signs. The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction. The tread width of the tyre is provided in millimetres by the first number in the tyre size label. In the case of the 235/70 R15 tyre it is 235 mm. The second number equals the percentage ratio between the 235/70 R15 tyre's profile height and its tread width (70% out of 235 mm).
