Avon tyres originate from The United Kingdom. The company's history starts in the end of the 19th century. In 1997 the brand became a part of the American Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Since 2000 the high quality of Avon tyres allowed them to be provided to the F2000 Championships in the USA. 205/65 R15 Tyres

205/65 R15 tyres are produced with executive cars and family cars in mind. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall where it is presented with the help of strings of numbers and letters. The first number informs about the tread width of the tyre. The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width, e.g. 65% out of 205 mm. The third number provides in inches the diameter of the wheel rim on which the tyre should be installed (here 15''). The "R" in the 205/65 R15 tyre model denotes its radial construction.
