Product description

Uniroyal AllSeasonMax 215/65 R16 109/107 T (106T), C

Uniroyal AllSeason Max is a very efficient all-season tyre designed to face the challenges that come with delivery vans and light commercial vehicles. Its design ensures good performance in varied weather conditions and under high loads.

The AllSeason Max project includes all the key features desired for delivery vans:

  • Durability,

  • Reliability,

  • Grip,

  • Handling,

  • Low costs of maintenance.

The tyre's design is based on a symmetric tread with a very dense web of sipes laid out at various angles. This allows to better latch onto the terrain, even if it is covered with water or snow. The slanted channels quickly transport the accumulating liquids into central grooves which push them away from the crown of the tyre. It protects against hydrodynamic skidding and ensures safe driving in all conditions.

This tread pattern comes with another significant benefit. As a result of its characteristic layout, the tread provides protection against loss of grip, retaining a constant, wide contact area between the rubber and surface of the terrain. This effect is further reinforced with the use of a modern rubber compound that not only protects against negative effects of tread deformations, but also prevents excessive wear of the tread surface. This allows for a long and safe use.

Uniroyal

[akapit]Uniroyal is a mid-range brand owned by Continental. The iconic “umbrella” symbol on the tyres indicates their excellent adaptation to driving on water-covered roads. Until late 1960s, the brand was associated with various types of rubber goods, until – in 1969 – it changed its main focus to the tyre industry.

The Uniroyal AllSeasonMax tyre in size 215/65 R16 109/107 T, according to the manufacturer's information, has the following drivability qualities:

  • C
  • A

Fuel efficiency (rolling distance)

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.

Wet grip

Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.

Noise

Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
