I bought new tyres from among premium brands for the previous car - it were 15". In the spring I changed my car and it was necessary to buy tyres. Premium tyres were not an option due to the price, so guided by the price and opinions, I decided to buy TOYO Proxes CF2 tyres. At the beginning I was happy with the good choice because they gave me quite the joy while cornering, steady braking, but I never started sharply until 2-3. The tyres mounted on the front axle began to disappear. During the last ride in the rain, traction control had to do its job all the time. Yesterday I changed it for winter tyres and I made a measurement of the depth of the tread the front was 3.8mm and the back 7mm which after driving from March over 36 thousand km gives them a really bad result. For the next year I have to buy 2 new ones which means another expense :/

I used the tyres for several autumn months. They are characterized by a very good grip on a dry road. As I do not drive aggressively and I use the car mostly in the city, I won't tell my impressions with several hundred kilometers of continuous driving. When it comes to the city, they are perfectly fine. As for the wet surface, there were moments when they lost a little grip when trying to start quickly from the lights. The tyres are quite hard, which just suits me. When it comes to noise, you can not say that they are louder than the competitive brands, but they are not particularly quiet either. After those few thousand kilometers, I did not notice any wear to the rubber. I also like the looks of the tread pattern.

I've been using these tyres for two seasons. When I bought them, they were not yet in Poland in official sale, so I was a little afraid of them, but since earlier model (CF1) had good reviews I took my chances and I do not regret it. They have never let me down. They perfectly hold on to the road, no tilting when starting off, nor while cornering fast. Even on wet surfaces they do very well (they drain water well even when driving in ruts). The traction is nice. They give a sense of confidence and full control. They dampen the uneven raods and their durability is also great. In my opinion, they are quite quiet, and the noise they make is not unpleasant to the ear. I would highly recommend.

The Proxes CF2 tyres are unfortunately not suitable for driving in local climate. The tyre drains water rather poorly - , entering a deeper puddle after a havier rain at a speed of 60-70 km / h ends with the car skidding. The situation is different when the surface is only wet, without standing water - here the tyre is doing well. It behaves very well on a dry surface. As for cornering, compound could be a bit harder as Subaru does not like soft tyres - but it still outclasses Michelin Primacy HP, which i had fitted previously on this car. Silent tyre, low rolling resistance. No version with a rim protection. To sum up - a good tyre, especially meant for south of Europe.

I bought the tyres for the coming season. The predecessors were Pirelli P7s. The difference is quite considerable. I feel much better grip when driving. In the dry as well as in the wet they stick perfectly to the road. Good bump absorption and behaviour on potholes. Excellent traction. Attractive tyre design. The tyres are not the quietest, but the noise is tolerable. I definitely recommend Toyo! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Toyo Proxes CF2 205/55 R17 95 V XL
The Toyo Proxes CF2 is a summer tyre designed for passenger cars. It is manufactured using a high-performance rubber compound whose flexibility and durability reduces both tyre noise and rolling resistance at the same time as offering greater resistance to premature wear. The special design of the grooves on the asymmetric tread also guarantee slow and moderate wear. The tyre delivers superb handling wet on roads by offering ideal grip and stability and the associated driving safety. The grooves referred to above also help the vehicle to maintain steerability during braking, as well as reducing braking distances on wet roads and when going round corners.
Toyo is a Japanese-owned manufacturer of tyres for passenger cars, vans and lorries which specialises in premium-range tyres that offer balanced performance at an optimum price. Toyo is also involved in motor sports and produces tyres for racing vehicles, which serves as evidence of the high quality of the brand's products.

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
