Toyo Open Country A/T

I have used these tyres on two different BMW X5's the first one a E53 and then a E70. The E70 had horrible runflat tyres on 20" wheels when I bought it, so I bought a new set of 18" wheels with the Toyo open country A/T's on them. It was like driving a different car. Gone was the harsh ride and the car felt so much better to drive. I did have the opportunity to drive the E53 in the snow with the Toyo's and they handled very well. I would recommend these tyres for anyone who has a SUV. To quote Vincent Price, "If I may put forward a slice of personal philosophy" Don't bother with summer tyres on a SUV use a decent set of all weather tyres like the Toyo open country A/T's. I bought. These tires. suggesting. the. opinions of the users. No. I regret that decision. Simple. they do not provide. such a comfort to the surface. asphalt. as regular tires but they compensate this. imperfection. in terenie.Błoto, gravel, stones, of course. of sense. they are not. for. one problem. Tires revelation! It uses three years in a jeep with a powerful V8 engine, driving diverse city, long and very fast flights highway, rural unpaved roads, forest, sand, rocks, mud, snow. Tread for me personally very cool. Soon will 100tys. km tyres, they still have tread approx. 6mm! With such a hard-and-fast car, and driving light, it is amazing and worth recommending. In the far summer tour abroad, I found a nail stuck in the tread. Was holding the tire pressure for safety visited the vulcanization - tire was not punctured, nail entered sideways. You can ride safely on the snow, lower the blood pressure and is doing really tolerable. With small minuses: quite loud at more than 160km / h, but it is a tire A / T, not a semi slick to the shaft drive. Doing even at speeds row 220km / h extended period of time (germany highway). I was put on Toyo Open Contry A / T and this Sunday I have tested their effectiveness on dry (Cornering mountain: Semnoz), and especially in the freshly fallen snow over La Clusaz and to enter into the heights, fingers in the nose ...
