I think the Superia EcoBlue 4s tyres are worth being recommended. They are pretty quiet. Taking into consideration their reasonable price you shouldn't even hesitate. Just buy and drive. I really recommend them.

I would recommend adding a little more cash and buying something better. The tyres are ok for the price, but unfortunately I am looking for something better, because for the winter and autumn periods they do not meet my requirements.

We chose these tyres and do not regret this purchase. Other manufacturers don't necessarily offer better quality, it's just the expensive name you pay for. We can only recommend these tyres and would buy them again at any time.

I'm surprised by low rolling noises even with the roof open. Lies well on steep curves and damp roads. A very good choice for the price. I will order them again the next time I change tires.

Product description

Superia EcoBlue 4s 205/50 R17 93 W XL

Superia EcoBlue 4s are all-season tyres intended for drivers looking for economical solutions for their passenger cars. The presented model is rated in the economy class, meaning that it is offered at a price that won’t eat into your budget.

The presented model comes with an asymmetric tread pattern. Such a solution is considered to be the most technologically advanced. With this type of tread, we can make a distinction between two different sections or parts: internal and external. They differ in the arrangement of blocks and grooves and are responsible for performance in different conditions. The external part is made for maintaining a good grip on bends and while passing obstacles on dry surfaces. The internal part is responsible for water drainage and, thus, protection against aquaplaning.

As expected from good all-season tyres, Superia EcoBLue 4s have a system of sipes across the entire area of the tread. Such a solution causes that the tyre grasps the snow. As a result, the vehicle is stable and predictable (smooth starting, braking and manoeuvring) in difficult weather conditions.

Superia is one of the youngest brands on the market but it has already gained recognition with many drivers. Its creators have effectively combined good performance with attractive prices. Consequently, travelling on these tyres is safe and cheap. Superia tyres are designed by qualified engineers and manufactured using high-tech machines. The manufacturing process also employs high-quality components. This results in tyres that meet the expectations of European drivers.

The Superia EcoBlue 4s tyre in size 205/50 R17 93 W, according to the manufacturer's information, has the following drivability qualities:

  • E

Fuel efficiency (rolling distance)

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.

Wet grip

Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.

Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
