The tire is firmly on dry, wet can uslizgiwać when starting up, but then caught traction. Persistent, loud enough above 100 km / h. In cornering on wet and dry well is holding, car swims. Aquaplaning her wither. Generally I recommended, as someone drivin mainly around the city + there any trips outside the city, nothing better is needed decent job of gum.

I bought these tires for Vauxhal Zafira 2.2DTI with OPC suspension. Already drove the distance of 3000 miles and no trouble so far. Noise lvl is similar to the rest in this size attrition is at a decent lvl. Tyre pattern is nearly touched great driving comfort sticks to the road very nice on wet and dry. Very good at braking on both roads and nbo problems even on wet one. Ovation Vi-388 was a good purchase and I’m proud of it! They look good they act good and they are cheaper than their competitors. The only minus is that they don’t have brand name on side of it, but believe me the brand has nothing to do with it. Great quality and I’ve used Pirelli, Michelin, Hankook, Debica and other nonames. Ovation is recommended and I will definitely buy it again.

I drive a B5 1.9 TDI Passat Highline auto estate 04 plate. I fitted 17" Audi RS alloys to replace 15", and car is lowered slightly... not a boy racer( in my 50's) but as the car is black on black leather it looks really good with mods. These tyres have a great looking tread pattern, and perform really well, much better than some big brand cheaper options. A little noisy after about 10k but don't forget they are a low profile with a biggish alloy on a big car. Will buy again without doubt, great quality and last well (over 1k miles and not really worn at all. Good in dry and wet alike. I have recently done a 1500 mile holiday in Wales with family ,2 dogs and roof box full up tyres performed without fault !

As I was always not sure of type of tyres made in China, so I bought only 2 Ovation VI-388. I drove 6000 miles and I'm pleasantly surprised at every aspect, of course. Now I can say: Goodbye dear Continentals, Uniroyals and Fuldas which dissapointed me. I recommend these tyres. I bought it in the winter after an incredible price of 39 GBP and now I can see them at 46 GBP. The conclusion is: buy winter tyres in summer and vice versa made in China without much concern.

I'm entirely against Chineese products but the price and good opinions convinced me to buy them. Can u imagine how astouned I was after 7000 miles mileage Ovation VI-388 still sticks to the road even when I've tried everything to rattle'em. Ovation is good although aquaplanning is barely noticable. For me Ovation is a great tyre for a very good price and you may say that it is one of the best tyres in it's size on the market.

Ovation VI-388 195/55 R16 91 V
Technical description: The tyre is made using a special compound containing silica, making it extremely strong yet lightweight. It is ideally suited to wet surfaces thanks to its use of four wide grooves, which guarantee grip, whilst minimising the risk of aquaplaning. The tyre also has transverse grooves with small blades, enabling smooth driving round corners and excellent drivability at high speed. These tyres are also noted for their low rolling resistance, making the vehicle more cost-effective by reducing fuel consumption.
The Ovation VI-388 also comes equipped with a rim protector, guaranteeing protection against mechanical damage such as curb impact. The tread design and use of an innovative compound means that driving on Ovation tyres is a very quiet and genuinely comfortable experience.
Information about the manufacturer: Ovation is an Asian group that has at its core several key principles: unity, endeavour, pragmatism and efficiency. The company has been in operation for almost 20 years. The company specialises in producing economy tyres intended for passenger cars.
Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
