Nokian Tyres Wetproof 1 215/60 R16 99 V XL

I bought the tyres for my 2020 opel corsa 1.2 turbo 130 km city car. I cover about 12,000 km a year with the car. I have been using the tyres for 4k km and am very satisfied. They are quiet despite the rather poor soundproofing of the opel, but you can't hear any tyre noise, which makes for a comfortable drive. The tyres perform excellently in the wet and I have had no problems with slipping. In the dry, of course, the grip is very good, so for me these two aspects make the tyres a safe and confident choice to drive. The fuel consumption is on the same level as it was (the previous tyres were also class C in terms of fuel consumption and rolling resistance). All in all, I recommend buying these tyres with a clear conscience; if you value safety, the Nokian Tyres wetoroof 1 will meet your expectations. Read more Collapse

It's the first time I've used Nokians, but it certainly won't be the last. Fantastic driving at temperatures close to 0 (it's true what they say that Nokians keep at much lower temperatures than others). Very quiet - at least compared to Dunlop Fastresponse. I don't know yet what the mileage will be and how long they will last (a cool thing on a tyre with a numerical wear indicator from 8 mm down). The tyre guy, when he put them on, praised that, like all Nokians, they balance very nicely. How about the look? As far as the first driving impressions go, the tyre is very good in its premium class, which is attractive due to its price compared to the competition, the tyre sticks nicely on dry tarmac and is quiet at higher speeds. In the wet, it doesn't lose grip and also holds the track nicely, this year I rushed the change slightly and in the morning at frost I had to drive; then the tread tyre behaved normally, it didn't have to seek grip and just held the road well. Once again, I have opted for the Nokian brand. This time for summer tyres for rainy conditions. I have already had the opportunity to drive locally and on the motorway in heavy rain (cloudburst). The car drives with confidence and stability, changing lanes is stress-free. Acceleration and braking very good. Low noise is an advantage. The tyres are very comfortable. Highly recommended. I once bought Nokians as a cheap option for winter - I couldn't have been more wrong. The winter tyres are excellent, so I decided to check out the summer tyres too. Comparing them to the previous Continentals, I am delighted: the car drives almost identically for a much lower price. And in the wet it is super stable and doesn't break traction.
