Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect is a summer sports tyre at its best. In professional racetrack testing, the latest generation of the series proved to be 7.29 seconds faster per lap than its predecessor, illustrating the great potential of this modern design.

For the purposes of the model, a tread structure was developed with an asymmetrical arrangement and a widened plane of contact with the road. By replacing the classic blocks with cross cuts, the grip and handling of the tyre has been improved, further enhancing its sporting performance. This optimised design provides unprecedented manoeuvring precision, which translates into greater driver confidence on the road.

Dynamic Response is a solution responsible for the precision of transferring commands from the steering wheel to the tyres. The aramid-nylon wrap provides excellent communication between the driver and the car, providing a better sense of direction and greater confidence on more difficult sections. A more rigid tread helps stabilise the track during braking, leaving full control in your hands.

Bi-Compound 2.0 is a dual rubber compound technology on the outside and inside of the tread which is responsible for different performance groups:

• The compound from which the inner tread zone is formed consists of rigid elastomers, which are designed to increase the stability of the driving track and minimize the risk of losing control of the car. The result is even greater driving precision.

  
  

• The outer side of the tyre is based on elastomers made of strong molecular chains, which are responsible for grip during cornering. It will work perfectly at higher speeds, helping you keep control of your car at all times.

Track Longevity 2.0 is a technology that enhances the tyre's durability when exposed to high dynamic driving loads. The outer shoulders are hardened with a special rubber compound which is stiffer when driving on the track.

The Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect can be implemented with the Michelin Track Connect system, available separately from the manufacturer.
