Advantages: • Grip on dry surfaces: The tyres provide stability and precise handling, which is important when driving in winter conditions. • Driving comfort: High driving comfort and low noise levels ensure a comfortable journey. • Traction on snow: The tyres offer good traction on snow-covered roads, which increases driving safety in winter. Disadvantages: • Grip in corners on snow • Price: Michelin tyres are often more expensive than competing models. The Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 in size 205/40 R18 are high-quality winter tyres that offer excellent performance on dry surfaces and driving comfort. Although their grip in corners on snow could be better and the price is higher than some competitors, their overall performance and safety make them worth considering for drivers looking for reliable winter tyres. Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 245/40 R19 tyres are synonymous with winter perfection for me. I felt the difference from the very first kilometre – the car drives like it's on rails, even in the most unpredictable weather. Snow, slush, ice? These tyres don't know the meaning of the word ‘compromise’. Stability in corners, sensational grip and short braking distances make every winter journey a pleasure! Add to that incredible driving comfort and surprisingly low noise levels – it's as if Michelin has added a touch of luxury. As someone who values not only safety but also precision handling, I know one thing – Pilot Alpin 5 tyres are not just ordinary tyres. They are a winter partner I can trust 100%. And honestly? I no longer miss summer in winter. Read more Collapse

Sensational winter tyres – Michelin Pilot Alpin 5. I drive on Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 (225/45 R19) tyres and I must admit that they are some of the best winter tyres I have ever had! The tyres provide phenomenal grip on both wet and snowy surfaces. Even during dynamic driving, the car remains stable and the handling precision is top notch. What surprised me positively was the excellent shock absorption – despite the 45 profile, the driving comfort is really high. In addition, the tyres are very quiet, which is rare in this class. If you are looking for premium quality, excellent handling and safety in winter conditions, the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 is definitely the right choice! Read more Collapse

Great winter tyres. Very quiet, they generate significantly less noise than the factory Michelin Pilot Sport 4. I was also able to test them in difficult conditions and they perform very well on snow-covered roads. The car handles confidently and even with more aggressive acceleration, it does not lose traction easily. I am very satisfied and I think I will buy Michelin tyres again in the future. Winters are getting milder – I also think that the services are more effective at clearing snow from the roads. However, there were a few days this year when we were actually surprised by snow cover, and with these tyres it didn't really cause any major problems. Read more Collapse
