I have been using Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 tyres for a year now and I am very pleased with them. Handling on dry is sensational, on wet they're as good - I safely arrived to my destination via the motorway at ca. 90 MPH, so I think it can confirm their good water dispersion. They're very quiet even at high speeds. I have 225/45R18 tyres fitted so it's obvious that driving on such profile won't be comfortable, but I have to admit it handles bumps well. I can definitely say that Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 is a great product. It made me stick to Hankook tyres, as I find them great.

I have these tires of 05.2013, and from the beginning I noticed their felernosc ... Unfortunately the wet very poor adhesion and easy skid ... Additionally, at highway speeds emergency braking causes that we have trouble keeping the car on a single lane ... Under this angle unfortunately these tires are lost .... Total mileage on them about 40-50tys km, founded in the year (summer season 3) are, in my opinion, have to exchange ... tread heavily used (about 4.5 mm), which strongly indicates a short tire life ... in addition, the tires have become so hard that even on damp surfaces slide unmercifully ... If it was not the last item (consumption 2 years / seasons !!) it may, my recommendation would be neutral - but not now ... I'm sorry, but these tires are too weak for longer knowledge ... Maybe I compare to other better tires: Continental and Dunlop ContiSport Contact SPSport, but the difference in price, unfortunately, does not compensate for the quality ...

It took me a while to decide what to choose. I was wondering. Should I strech my budget a bit and buy some branded premium class tyres? I said no and i bought Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 and I am satisfied that I didn't overpay. They are a lot cheaper than Pirelli or Michelins, but the quality they offer in my opinion excelent. They handle well in the dry, my car sticks to the road like it was glued :) They are also very good on wet. I havn't noticed aquaplaning. You only need to be careful when pulling off dynamically because sometimes they like to lose traction on wet and this is the only con I can find. Tread is quite soft but not excessively consumed after one season with virtually no signs of wear. The comfort on 17 inch rims is not bad, I would say it is decent. The tread pattern may not be a super-hyper modern but this is probably not the case. It has a firm grip on the road and it is what it should do. I noticed a slight decrease in fuel consumption. Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 are definatelly worth the money. Hankook is a brand that started in motorsports so I believe that they know what they are doing. From now I will by Hankook without hesitation.

Hankoo Ventus Prime2 K115 is listed as a middle class but behaves as any other premium manufacturer tyres. Tires definitely worth the money. In fact, in every aspect they meet my expectations. Thing that they might not look prestige enough in the car like BMW doesn't matter to me. Snobbish points of view are far from my attitude. The tyre doesn't need to be pretty, as far as it is safe and handles comfortly! Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 are exactly that kind of tyres. I have done over 10000 miles from the purchase on local roads and abroad. They are quiet, and behave satisfactorily on wet roads. They are not as soft as I thought they will be. But is it a flaw? This is an individual judgement, and as we well know, it all depends on the driver preferences. Convinced by it's price and parameters I would buy them again. I hope that the next set will allow me to give a similar opinion. And one more thing at the end. I don't have any relation with the manufacturer! I'm just a satisfied customer.I can recommend them with pleasure.

I wanted to buy Michelin but I was persuaded by the Oponeo consultant to purchase cheaper Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 and it was a very good choice. I was supprised that they didn't force me to buy the most expensive tyres as others do. It is a great and a quiet tyre. Behaviour similar to Michelin on dry and far better on the wet! How is it possible? I was comparing them with Energy Savers from Michelin, because I had them mounted on a second car from the beginning. If anyone is wondering, he shouldn't! . The choice is really simple. You get excellent performance for a really good price. The behavior on wet asphalt is superb. On a roundabout that I usually go and skid when entering bit to fast now my car runs like on rails :) What I can tell more,...Virtually silent. The appearance of the tyre is sensational. A sense of security is real, the car goes and stops where you want. I am very satisfied with those tyres and and excellent service I received.

Product description

Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 225/45 R18 95 V XL, MFS

This model is classified as a UHP (Ultra High Performance) tyre. The Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 has been designed with the use of the latest technology. Take, for example, its "Jaguar tooth shape” solution. This technology can be seen in the special sipes on the surface of the tyre tread. These sipes maintain excellent grip both when accelerating and when going round corners, which means that the car performs better in any conditions found on summer roads.

The tyre also comes with "GripTech” technology, which aims to optimise performance when driving and braking on wet roads. The special multi-radius design of the tyre tread offers excellent grip for drivers who prefer a dynamic style of driving (including sharp bends). The designers of the Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 have used the perfect rubber compound, which limits rolling resistance, thus allowing for a more cost-effective journey. The Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 easily handles any conditions.

The Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115 is installed as an original part in the Volkswagen Touran and Audi A4 Sedan and Avant.
