    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought the tyres jointly with the car, so they were not the tyres of choice. I was not familiar with this model. I have W-rated tyres on the front axle and V-rated tyres on the rear. I drive a fairly heavy car - Mondeo Kombi ON. The front tyres seem a bit too soft, which bothers me personally as they rock the car when I make sudden movements, but they absorb bumps well. The rear ones are much harder, but they rumble for me (they are not very new anymore). I've already driven 20,000 km on them and the wear is pretty good (the W ones wear out much faster - they are softer and in addition on the front). The grip is not bad either, satisfactory in the wet and very good in the dry. As I haven't had these tyres since they were new, it's difficult for me to say how they behave when new. Generally, it is not bad, although I have the impression that I have driven on better ones (Continental Premium Contact2, Bridgestone ER30 Turanza). On these I'm bothered by a lot of rumbling (especially on the rear axle), but they're not too new after all, and they're already a bit worn out ( though it's not always the tyres' fault). When it comes to changing tyres I'll definitely buy them. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I had the tyres fitted on 8 inch wide rims which gave a slight stretching effect. They worked very well for their task. Both on dry and wet surfaces they gave sufficient steering confidence. Unfortunately their hardness has a negative effect on the suppression of unevenness. I have driven on them for two seasons, over 32,000 km in total, and the tread wear was about 3 mm during that time. I can recommend them to people who need a durable tyre and are not too demanding when it comes to cushioning bumps. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought the tyres second-hand and put them on 8" wide rims, which makes them slightly stretched. After more than 10000 km in various conditions and on different roads, I can confidently recommend them. Both on dry and wet surfaces the car drives confidently, and I haven't noticed any excessive wear. The tyres are well suited for light stretching on the rim. In my case, despite the threaded suspension, they provide relative comfort when overcoming bumps on our beautiful roads. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

The tyres are hard as a peg, which results in them behaving quite poorly on a wet road. The manufacturer has gone over the top and created a product that aims to save fuel, but unfortunately this is paid for with rather mediocre grip on wet roads - most notably with braking. This is not the car's fault, I've also had the pleasure of driving the new 215/45/17" Croma on them and the effect is the same. The cheaper Firestone has safer tyres on offer. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Hard tyre, quite poor ride comfort at lower pressures. Slippery in the wet as well as in the dry, ABS is the norm under slightly heavier braking. Rather a tyre for heavy cars or with soft suspension characteristics for long journeys and smooth motorways. Rather a tyre for heavy cars or with soft suspension characteristics for long journeys and smooth motorways. On the plus side, the tyre looks very nice and has a particularly long lifespan.
