I would definitely recommend. I previously used the Michelin Energy Saver and immediately noticed that Continental tyres are much quieter, honestly inaudible. They stick to the road perfectly, driving on the same route and corners, I feel much more comfortable and safer with Continental tyres. Overcoming bends at high speeds does not cause feeling that at any moment you can fall out of the track. However it's hard to tell about suppression of road inequalities because I changed shock absorbers a few weeks ago and generally I avoid holes and bumps. I do not judgea look of the tyre because it is like to evaluate the appearance of the schock absorbers ... I drive peacefully, within the limits of 90km / h - 130 km / h mostly with cruise control with constant speed. I had no opportunity to measure the actual fuel usage (with full tank) but looking at the results on the route is less than about 0.5 l - 0.8 l compared to Michelin. I believe that these tyres areperfect for my driving style and I'm very happy.

I drove almost 15000 km on ContiEcoContact 5 tyres, where driving in the city constitutes more than 90% of my car usage. This tyre is highly recommended due to low friction and meekness. It seems to me that the profit can be seen in fuel consumption - small difference but better this than nothing! At high temperatures of asphalt you can observe a slight tendency to slip when braking or cornering, but the tire immediately gets back to its advantages. When driving on wet surface, tyre drains water well and gives a sense of stability. I gave a rating of 5 for handling, as compared to the Michelin Kami, it falls a little worse. When driving on the highway (approx. 160 km / h), tyres are quiet at dry surface and stick to the road very well - give a sense of security. If I had to choose again, I would pick them with no hesitation.

I drove on Continental ContiEcoContact 5 tyres and they served me very well, I can confirm that after driving about 20 thousand miles. In every situation I had to deal with, the tyre behaved stable and predictable. After about 15-20 thousand km, tread wear of the front tire was 2 mm and 1 mm in the rear which I do not judge because I have no reference point if it's a lot or a little. In fact these are first summer tyres I purchased. In general, I wanted to make them durable as long as it's possible and I think that's brilliant result. Tyres behave well on wet surface. I think I can easily recommend these tyres.
I first tested the tyre with low rolling resistance, which ensures very good control of a car on a wet and a high driving comfort. Tyre performs well on our potholed roads. Also one of the few in which the rolling resistance is noticeably smaller than on normal tyres (and consumption in any situation depends more on driving style and traffic jams than the tyres ...). Appearance is not sensational, but driving on them is great. Besides, just think - cheap pseudotyres made in China sometimes has aggressive tread pattern, but provide less security than the old, worn branded tyres ...

Continental ContiEcoContact 5 225/55 R16 95 Y
Continental ContiEcoContact 5 is the flagship engineering product of Continental. The designers managed to make a breakthrough in terms of technology and design in all the elements that compose the tyres. The innovative components include the carcass, compound, tyre contour and tread pattern. The company used an innovative compound which helps to reduce rolling resistance and shorten the braking distance on wet surfaces. The new tyre contour considerably increases mileage and the innovative tread pattern significantly improves the braking efficiency in tough weather conditions.
Continental is a German company who have been manufacturing tyres for almost 150 years. Due to the systematic and development of high technologies, Continental is currently the fourth largest tyre manufacturer in the world. What is interesting is that Continental was the first company to equip their Research & Development Centre in Hanover with a computer tomograph aimed at optimising research and work on tyre prototypes. The product range of the German company includes tyres for passenger cars, vans, 4x4 vehicles, SUVs, lorries, as well as special tyres.

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
