These are excellent year round tyres for the UK. Snow performance is excellent - tested last weekend up and down the steep road to my house with 4 inches plus of virgin snow where no other cars had attempted to and didn’t miss a beat - certainly a big step up in wet and snow compared to standard summer tyres on the Freelander. Also have these on my E Class convertible and although not used on snow, excellent wet weather performance and good in the dry - unless you drive hard in which case a pure summer tyre would be preferred in dry and warm conditions. I will buy again. Finally, I have found these all rounders a great alternative to swapping between summer and winter tyres for driving in the UK. Read more Collapse

Tyre very good in all weathers at normal driving style. Travel a lot on the continent in all weathers so needed a 3Peak tyre. Obviously not as good in summer than summer tyre but more than adequate. Tyre pressures need adjusting depending on loads. Overall recommended. Read more Collapse

Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO is a premium all-season- tyre for passenger cars. It has been designed and developed for safe travel regardless of the season or weather conditions.

The manufacturer has opted for a directional tread that can cope with dry, wet and snow-covered roads, removing dirt from the wheels. A dense mesh of lamellas significantly affects the grip of tyres on snow. In turn, the grooves effectively drain the water, preventing aquaplaning.

Compared to the previous Weather Control A005 model:

Offers 3% better grip on snow,
Shorter braking distance by 3%,
Better traction in slalom by 4%.
