The Bridgestone Potenza RE050A1 is a tyre close to perfect. On dry surface I didn't notice practically any work of ABS systems. It grips perfectly when starting. What's more, it's quiet in every speed range. If greatly absorbs small bumps and cracks in the pavement. It also gives great grip on wet surface. Longitudinal aquaplaning is something this tyre doesn't know, and even if it goes into a slide, it does it in a smooth way, giving you the time to react. Bridgestone Potenza RE050A1 are very good tyres great handling on dry pavement (also on motorways, at speeds above 130 MPH) and quite good on wet. Very good grip in the corners. Virtually no rolling resistance. Tread wear is on an acceptable level (the car is quite powerful, and the tyres are insrtalled on the rear axle). Their hardness is such as in RunFlats - I'm not complaining. I find Bridgestone Potenza RE050A1 much better than the ones I had before, and I had Pirelli tyres. Read more Collapse

I've been using Bridgestone Potenza RE050A1 tyres for two months in summer conditions now. They are good - actually, very good! They retain all their properties. They don't lose grip when starting and are very stable when braking. Also, they provide great traction in the corners. Sometimes can be a little noisy. Bridgestone Potenza RE050A1 is a much cheaper tyre than Michelin or Goodyear, and is much, much better. It grips the surface like it was glued to it. I have a powerful car and I like to drive fast, and I can literally feel the tyres stick to the surface. They greatly convert the car's capabilities to the way you drive. I have been looking for Bridgestone Potenza RE050A1 for a long time, since the manufacturer recommends them for a BMW, however I managed to get it here and I can say that the manufacturer is right by choosing Bridgestone Potenza RE050A1 for their cars.
