Accelera PHI R looks good and performs all right in general. Price is the major advantage. Tyre works good on normal weather conditions but when road is wet you need to drive much slower. I advise to do maneuvers carefully especially during the rain because I had one not pleasant situation on roundabout. I'm professional and experienced driver so I managed to handle the situation but if someone has lower skills it could be more difficult. Good tyre but require rational driving.

I have run these tyres for 2 years on my Ibiza. They are durable, strong, quiet & very grippy. In the past I have been a brand snob & would go for Yokohama & Pirelli. These tyres are more than a match for my past preferences, at a fraction of the price too. They have taken some major bumps, with potholes, dead animals & others & still maintain their integrity.

Accelera PHI R 225/55 R16 99 W XL, ZR
Are you looking for summer tyres that will offer you security, while not denting your wallet at the same time? Accelera PHI R is an optimal solution for you. With these tyres you will be able to enjoy a full driving experience irrespective of the weather.
Stability on different surfaces is achieved through the use of an asymmetric tread pattern. The remarkable feature is that it consists of two separate parts, each of which is responsible for the performance of the other. As a result, this tyre copes well in dry and wet conditions alike, and you can enjoy a smooth ride regardless of the prevailing weather.
The engineers who worked on this model focused on an optimum distribution of pressure for the surface of the tyre, resulting in a tread that wears slowly and evenly. All this means that Accelera PHI R can drive more kilometres without you worrying about any safety deterioration.
The rubber compound with an optimized tread pattern guarantees excellent muffling of the sound generated by this model while driving. As a result, trips with Accelera PHI R are comfortable and quiet. The compound also provides flexibility at a variety of summer temperatures, which always keeps the tyre gripped on the maximum area of tread surface. This translates into better handling of corners and more confident, dynamic and fast driving. Accelera PHI R is an exceptionally cost-effective solution, not only in terms of competitive prices, but also extended service life. Choose this model if you appreciate balanced performance but don’t want to overpay.

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
