I demand the best from my tyres and am highly impressed with the Nokian WR A3. I was unsure to start with as it is not one of the big name brands, but having read some reveiws I decided to take the plunge. Having driven the full winter season on these last year and just considering getting them out for this winter I cannot fault them. They stick very well to cold tarmac (wet or dry) completly eliminating that 'greasy' feel that you get with summer or all season tyres when the roads are cold. Even with a slight frost or light snow covering the road these tyres still left me feeling confident in the rubbers ability to keep the car where it was supposed to be. I never got to try these in any heavy snow, but I have them fitted to a rear wheel drive sports saloon so probably wouldnt want to anyway. The grip on warm tarmac is not as good as my summer tyres, but I would certainly not mark these down for that because it is not what they are designed for, these tyres are winter tyres, and I can only assume that those users that have mentioned about a slight lack of grip on wet surfaces are comparing these to a summer tyre on a warm road.

Had these as a winter set for the Mondeo hatch and used them on Mk4 and 4a versions. Suited car very well giving better handling, much quieter travel, and all the grip I needed both solo and towing a caravan. Didn't check rolling resistance/mpg variations. Unfortunately, have changed car make which has different size tyres so will be definitely be looking for a new set.

I put these tyres on for winter 2014-2015. The ride and steering was immediately better then my Pirellis I took off. They were fantastic in snow.ice slush and through a muddy field. At the end of winter when the temp went up I was planning on putting the P4 back on.....it's now September I left them on. They were superb all year. P4 are going on Ebay.
