I chose these tyres for my Volvo V60 as I wanted a winter tyre that would still offer good performance and interesting driving. After 5,000+ miles there is still 7mm tread remaining, suggesting a lifetime of over 20,000 miles will be achievable. Steering is very responsive, with better feedback than my summer tyres (Continental SportContact 5) and overall much more feel. Very slightly increased fuel consumption compared to the Contis, (about 49 mpg on WR-A3 against 51 mpg on summer tyres), and slightly increased road noise. Not enough opportunity to test them on snow yet, buit a quick blast through the Peak District in January during a snowstorm suggests they will do everything you need in a winter tyre. Overall I think these tyres are fantastic and I would heartily recommend them. As a result of my positive experience I am now looking at fitting Nokian Z-Lines to replace my summer tyres.

So far have not been able to try out on snow to date but perform well on ice and below 7 deg.They give the driver a great deal of confidence on the road.

Tires bought suggesting the fact that earlier I had them in another car (4x4). Then they exercised perfectly even on large snow and slush. Currently aura without snow drove them 2500 km on the road on dry roads and a big rain. I drive fast and dynamic and on wet roads at a speed of about 160 km / h when I was a situation that had to sharply pull back tire proved to be the perfect adhesion and for a second I do not annexed any trajectory correction systems. locally icy surface also is not a problem for them. Full adherence and completely stress-free ride. 220 km / h also does not afford them any problem :) To sum up, the tire is not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but very good quality. Given that the tire is the only part which touches the asphalt seems to me that you should not unduly on that save. I am very happy with my purchase and if I had more time to purchase would buy exactly the same model tires.
