This year, the real winter has not come and do not know whether it comes, so my assessment winter tire is not entirely fair. Given the existing conditions (demi-season) I did not find any negatives - did not have a chance to demonstrate.

I had some Continental tyres previously mounted on my vehicle. Generally speaking I was always a big fan of Continental tyres. To be honest I do not feel a significant difference in terms of quality between Dunlop Winter Sport 5 and my old Continentals. Both Continental and Dunlop are premium brands and they represent a top of quality. A great advantage of Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres is their astonishing grip. They stick to the road even in the most demanding weather conditions. They are a bit louder than summer tyres but it is an utterly normal thing. Their rolling resistance is low, which has a positive influence on a fuel consumption. What is more, if you are looking for some hard-wearing tyres, they will be one of the best. It is worth to read They are very comfortable even at a high speed. I would like to recommend these tyres to everybody!

Fitted in early October and used mainly in temperatures above 10 degrees c until a recent cold snap with snow when I got a chance to test them out, the Jag felt very secure in the light snow and slush (even uphill) only twitching when on patchy ice. Very impressed.
