I have read a lot of reviews before I made my purchase. What is more, I watched many tests dedicated to Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres and different comparable products. I was not sure but ultimately I decided to place an order for these tyres. I knew that the predecessor of this tyre had very good reviews so I thought that the fifth generation cannot be worse. I ordered a set of Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres and it was a good decision. The tyres behave very well in difficult weather conditions like snow, mud and heavy rain. The tyres are simply superb. I did not know that a winter tyre may be so quiet. It is not too hard so driving is very comfortable. The rolling resistance is low, which has a positive influence on a fuel consumption. I exchanged these tyres to my summer Bridgestones and I noticed that the Bridgestones are much louder. I can recommend the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres to all who think about purchasing some good winter tyres.

I decided to purchase the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres quite a long time ago. They were not cheap but I took into consideration their overall performance, good reviews, nice labeling and therefore I decided to buy a set. The tyres provide a road safety and there is no more important thing when it comes to driving a car. I have done approximately 2000 miles in different weather conditions (wet roads, heavy rain, slush, snow and ice). I have a rich experience in driving (I am a driver for more than 34 years and I've done more than 1 million miles. My driving style is rather not an aggressive one. I have only one thing to say - the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres are superb and I do not regret buying them. I had Pirelli Sottozero winter tyres previously mounted on my vehicle and I had some problems with balancing and a wheel alignment. My Honda Accord was skidding in corners and I experienced some problems while driving in deeper snow. Now I have a sense of comfort in all conditions. Even in these most demanding. I tested these tyres in slush and on a wet road and my Honda sticks to the road. The noise level of the tyres is very low. They are really quiet. Driving is extremely comfortable on these tyres despite the fact that I have a hard suspension (typical of Honda). Concluding, the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres are worth their price. It is better to spend a bit more money in order to feel safe in winter. I recommend these tyres to all drivers who look for safety and comfort.

I cannot say a lot about the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres as I drove on them less than 3000 miles. I decided to purchase these tyres because my friend had them in his vehicle. I will rate them properly after some time but now it is too early. The tyres were exchanged very smoothly. They were properly balanced and now I keep testing them. I have noticed that they are astonishingly quiet and they provide an excellent grip on a dry road. You cannot hear them even at a high speed. They are not so good on ice but it is rather an obvious thing that there are no winter tyres dedicated to driving on ice. I think they are doing well in snow and slush. The Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres are one of the best value for money priced in mid-sixty range GBP per tyre fitted and balanced to wheels. I have read that Dunlop engineers put a significant effort to focus on aquaplaning performance and fuel efficiency. Thanks to that the tyres are lighter and more responsive in winter weather conditions. To sum up, there are lots of good tyres in this size but I think that the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 are the best and I would like to recommend them to everybody. Great tyres for a reasonable price!
