Overall, the tyres are performing very well on cold, frosty and muddy roads. This winter has had little snow, so I have only limited experience with snow. If I have one slight concern, the incidence of sideways aquaplaning when running into standing water on road surface at speed seems higher than I expected.

Tires with very good grip on both dry and wet asphalt, excellent in the snow. behaved very well in very difficult situations with a lot of snow. If I could go back I would purchase them reinforced (XL) or with higher load index, as at full load the back of the car does not behave well. They now have 20000km, you are well worn but on the highway have become too noisy, and hence will not be buying them again

I use Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D in a quite big size 235/65R17 in my 4x4. They are marvelous. I have to addmit that when I am driving on snow I felt very confident. I had full control over the car for the whole time. It is hard for me to judge the moving-off properties as in my 4x4 it is just splendid even when the road was a bit icy. Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D are ery good tyres, the ESP turns-on very seldom. They "pull" very nice :) oN dry road surface no probs at all. I love how they perform in my 4 x 4. They give me so much confidence and an excellent driving comfort. On the ice they are a bit slippy but none of the tyres avaliable on the martker would behave on ice same as on dry/wet road surface.All in all Dunlop Sp Winter Sport 4D are very good winter tyres! You would be pretty much shocked how good SP Winter Sport 4D can be.

I can say that Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D finnaly matched my requirements. Very good driving properties on wet road and road covered with snow. Recommend.

As I bought Vauxhall Corsa without ESP i decided to buy a bit more expensive tyres - mainly mi wife drives that car. Personaly, I did not have to many oportunities to drive the car on a parking lot etc. but I've tested Dunlop Winter Sport 4D in polish mountains. Winter Sport 4D are worth their price. They work pretty awesome in deep snow and on hills - I was shocked that for a whole winter they did not disappoint me even once. When I saw my neighbours digging in snow in the morning I was very happy that I do not have such issues with my Winter Sport 4D. On the dry tarmac they are much more quiet than summer tyres. If you have some money in your wallet, You have to buy Dunlop Winter Sport 4D.
