Tyre details:
the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D is a winter tyre that guarantees excellent driveability and grip on any road conditions and whatever the weather. The model features a directional tread pattern to ensure rapid dispersal of water, mud and snow, which prevents aquaplaning and improves driving stability.
Control over the vehicle on snowy, icy, wet and dry surfaces is guaranteed thanks to the combination of the innovative tread design and the use of materials that offer excellent grip. The tyre's performance in extreme conditions is due to its unique tread pattern and the numerous gripping edges on the blocks, which remain in constant contact with the road. The designers of the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D have also fitted the tyre with blocks in the central part of the tread, which improve grip when braking, accelerating and climbing uphill. The tyre is made from an innovative, light rubber compound, which reduces rolling resistance thanks to its lightness. This in turn results in lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The compound is also noted for its high grip and flexibility, which reduces braking distances, guaranteeing increased safety on the road and driving confidence. The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D is resistant to wear and mechanical damage. Furthermore, pressure is distributed evenly within the tyre, which means that the tread wears evenly and the model offers its full performance specifications for its entire lifetime.
Dunlop was founded in 1985. The company specialises in the production of premium tyres noted for their excellent manufacturing quality, optimal performance and driver comfort. The excellent reputation of the tyres made by this manufacturer is reflected in their use as original parts in car makes such as: Audi, BMW, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Seat and Skoda. Goodyear currently holds the majority share in Dunlop.
