Vredestein Quatrac 3

Vredestein Quatrac 3 is a product that is inconvenient for all fitting stations. They are really good and the attriction is low. My style of driving is not very agressive. I am not retired granny- I like driving fast, but I match my driving style to weather conditions. This tire isn't for those who drive 150MPH but for those wo drive 100 MPH. Vredesteins cannot be compared to UniroyalRainExperts during rain but it is not a big issue as you can still drive 90MPH and be totaly safe. They are a bit noisy over 90MPH but its not a big problem. It damps all road holes very well. During the summer you can feel the rubber softness but it shouldn't bother you. They offer confidence in corners. I realy recommend them. Read more Collapse

225/40/18 can only rate these tyres very high. Used in the Scottish Highlands this winter and have done exactly what I wanted of them. So good in fact that they should be fitted to every car up here by law! My Bridgestone potenzas fitted to my vrs Octavia got quite hard in the cold weather and had to come off as they were spinning and noisy. Have Volvo S80 and stay in Scotland. I would not have any other Tyre on my car than Vredenstine, Done 42,000 miles from the first set i fitted and their was still a few thousand left in them, Excellent in snow and good all year rounders. I know cars and tyres as i have worked in the motor industry all my working life and they are the best money can buy. Just try them and make your own mind up. Used on my spare 'all weather and tip run' car. Excellent all weather options which controlled my cars' heavy understeer and high edge wear issues. Excellent in all conditions thrown at it and no negatives whatsoever on a car I drive 'fruitily'. Far more effective than winters in summer and summers in winter....just as they should be! I made few miles on them because there was no snow during winter. It is hard to judge their behavior after such a short time of usage. I think that Vredesteins Quatrac 3 has quite big rolling resistance (I assume that because my fuel use rise in about 0.5-0.6L. Nevertheless, they are a nice compromise. For the average family saloon that gets driven hard at times I have total faith in these tyres. For me a tyres quality is based upon its wet weather performance and this tyre has got me out of trouble on several occasions. It has out braked BMW's, Audis etc in the wet. Great four season tyre but is, of course a "compromise" between summer and winter performance. That said, it avoids the change of tyres/wheels over the year. Get an extra matching alloy and put the same tyre so as you have an all-season spare. Read more Collapse

Last season tire which I had to Stomil Olsztyn D-124 :-). When buying guided by the winter conditions which are in our country. For the most part we have a wet or dry streets in the winter, they rarely lies on the snow. Some people forget that the weak winter tire can cope with the wet pavement, and here the problem does not occur. I could not choose a better !!! I think the tire for a small car is ideal. I have tires and winter and summer so I know how to fly on both. Now I know how to ride on year-round and say that's not bad. This tire gives advice in all weather conditions at moderate speeds. The second time I would choose the same (well, maybe I will choose another brand (Goodyear 4seasons so for comparison). Only my concern is how this tire will work with the vehicle the compact class or higher? Maybe with a camera that can handle it the upper classes of vehicles can not tolerate these tires. They are a very good tire in the dry, wet and light snow / slush. They tend to be a bit noisy on the road tarmac / asphalt, but on gravel roads, you can not hear anything except the gravel noise.
