The presented tyre is marked with 3PMSF symbol (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake). It means that the tyre meets the EU requirements for winter tyres. The symbol is awarded after thorough tests of a tyre model in terms of snow grip.

Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 is an economy-class winter tyre which has been created specifically for moderate Central European winters.

Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 uses a universal tread which works on all surfaces. It also provides good traction during rain and snow. The modern rubber build ensures the flexibility of the tyre even at low temperatures. This is achieved by the addition of polymers with frost-resistant properties.

Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 achieves less tyre erosion and a reduction in tyre rolling resistance. As a result, the tyre reduces the demand for fuel and less carbon dioxide emissions are produced. The performance in the wet is improved by 5% compared to its predecessor.

Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 delivers precise control by harnessing two ribs built from blocks of a dynamic shape. The tyre retains good traction even at high speeds. It uses an advanced directional tread pattern and having a suitable combination of bricks and a special system of grooves ensures safety on wet and icy roads. Blocks with sharp edges greatly improve the adhesion on slippery and icy roads. This unique design also reduces needless tyre noise.

Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 uses a dense sipe structure which makes the tyre "bite" into the road surface. This tyre effectively protects against uncontrolled skidding and significantly shortens the braking distance, on winter roads. Even during sudden manoeuvres the car remains under the control of the driver.

The three channels in the central part of the tyre are connected to the grooves on the side of the tyre. This solution effectively drains the excess water and slush from the tyre. This allows the centre of the tyre to have constant contact with the road surface, and aquaplaning is reduced to a minimum.
