Kumho KU31

I did drive for 22000 miles, relax driving style, still legal to drive on protectors fabulous shape still in there, but this is only been used for short period of the time as I'm cab driver and did 22000 miles within 5 month, looks still like new probably another 3-4000 mile will last for me, handling very good in any type of weather and road condition, I would definitely recommend for easy going drivers on XL, never had any failures, balancing easy and drives straight, it's been used with no swaping in front wheel, and car front wheel drive, in general I do recommend this tyres there do more than its cost, enjoy driving :):):) Read more Collapse

I was finding the standard fit pirelli p zero tyres fine in the dry but in the wet they would loose traction very easily, a friend of mine recommended the ku31s and at the price point I couldn't really argue. Tried them on the rear driven wheels and found them to be significantly better in the wet than the old tyres, dry weather grip is virtually the same too. Travelled nearly 6000 miles on these now and really can't fault them buy some before they go up in price! Read more Collapse

I can't say much about Kumho KU31 tyres, as I only did ca. 500 miles around the city. I bought them to drive on the motorway in the rain, and it will be there where I will check them out. However, at the moment I can say that thay grip the road nicely and the car keeps its track in the corners. At the moment, I am pleased with Kumho KU31 tyres, but I will be able to say more when I check them out for real. Read more Collapse

Kumho KU31 are worth recommending. The tread looks very agressive (in addition, the ECSTA mark written on the tread makes people think that these tyres are really expensive). Perfect grip in corners as well as during staring, the tyres won't even squeal. (My last Barums were so loud that I thought they will accidentaly fall off the wheel) My friend was satisfied as well. I needed a specific width of tyre 195/40/17 For st to clear the arch and strangely not much out for choice , I normally use toyo t1r So I have to compare these to them , wet grip is much better then the toyo’s. Kumho KU31 are excellent tyres. They fit the wheel nicely and creat a good stretch. They are soft and sbsorb shocks very well. I was comparing them to Nankang tyres, because they are the only other tyres in the size I have that are suitable to drive while stretched on my wheel size - and I can definitely recommend Kumho KU31. I am currently using the second set of Kumho KU31 tyres and I am sure I will buy them again. In my opinion, they are as good as factory fitted Michelin tyres, and when it comes to behaviour on loose surfaces, they are even better. They also give you a greast safety margin. I don't recommend Kumho KU31. I bought them and one of them turned out to have a manufacturing fault. The car was swerving to the right, making the drive a nightmare. I had them exchanged during the complaint procedure for tyres from another manufacturer and I know I will not buy Kumho KU31 again. This was jus too much. Read more Collapse

Kumho KU31 provide very good lateral support and great grip on both wet and dry surface. Their only drawback is that they have a very thin rim protector. However, other than that, I find Kumho KU31 worth recommending - they are very good tyres which can be compared to premium classs, and are cheaper at the same time. Read more Collapse

The price of Kumho KU31 may not be the lowest, it is of a medium range in my opinion, but I definitely recommend to buy these tyres. They are durable, braking is not a problem for them, driving above 125 MPH doesn't make them louder... Kumho KU31 is simply a great tyre for a decent price. Read more Collapse

Have used the KU31 for many years and on larger higher performance cars. Never given the slightest problem wet or dry but saying that I am not a great believer in pushing things to their limits on public roads. Kumho KU31 are quite good tyres in my opinion. I know I can't say much because I didn't even do 2000 miles on those, but at the moment I find them grip well in all conditions. With a clear conscience, I can recommend Kumho KU31 as a cheap and decent product. Read more Collapse

I drive 2nd season on Kumho KU31 and Im 100% satisfied. Car grips very good in corners like sticked to the tarmac. Perfect for agressive style of driving. 120MPH and my car still handles very good. They dont rumble. On wet surface they behave good as well. Read more Collapse

I smelled rubber right after I wear them but after about 300 miles everythign was ok, the smell disapeared. On wet road surface better not to brake because you can dangerously slip. Im talking about sudden breaking and 90° corners. Read more Collapse

Tire writes very well in dry conditions. Wet revelation. After entering at 70km / h in a fairly deep puddle, only hampered auto. Not jerked the wheel to the side and the car does not roll off the track. As well behave with asymmetrical driving (two sides of the car in different conditions) such as asphalt / sand or dry / water. I ride rather quietly, but sometimes I hurry and then presses the gas and quite dynamically changing speeds and directions. Tire very predictable and did not disappoint me or when braking or when cornering or acceleration. Not one slip which could not be controlled. I'm very happy. I have two cars that had an MR2 cheaper tires on it was really hopeless in the wet. I also have a BMW with 275 tires and buy four people with a big brand name is just crazy expensive. Fortunately, someone told me about Kumho. I ordered 4 for the MR2 and 4 for BMW and I am delighted to experience both. Grand dry and high in the wet. The MR2 is prone to slipping on the wet, but so far not on those tires. BMW has so much power, it can make the most tires slide easily in the wet. Not thereof. Each tire has made different with different driving styles and different machines for the BMX series 5 a tire that easily reaches the 40,000 km max 60,000 if you had the foresight to reverse them and turn on the circle every 10,000 -13,000 km (problem inside rear) .buono of all funds for the speed limits in Italy. Excellent value for money. ... Much better than many tires on which you do a lot of publicity and cost twice as much ... in fact only the name ... if you feel once you return to others. I used these tires for some years now and I think they are really good. I think the dry weather grip is brilliant. It is very difficult to push them over the edge. They may not last as long, but I think it is due to them being made with a softer compound. In the wet, they do not do as well but in no case are they poor performer. Hello, I recommend a great stick to the road though is a little louder than other models such as Kumho. Overall I would recommend the company for 6 years only buy these tires. The average consumption (diesel) increased slightly compared to the tires that I had before (always runflat, but Hankook). However, it is also increased traction on the road. Tires in line with the characteristics shown on the label. Excellent value for money. Read more Collapse
