Falkens HS 439 suprised me very much. I bought them 28.11.2011 and I was able to test them on ice and snow. They behve perfectly in these conditions. They are very silent as well. (my summer tyres are Fuldas and they are much ore noisy). Very affordable price and very high quality. i think I would use them for 2 seasons more because they look for me like new. Opinion from outside the UK

Last year I took a chance and bought it to my Ford Focus. In my opinion one of the best tyres. Perfect for wet and slush. A little worse for the snow ( there are better than these, it is an excellent for snow - Debica Frigo2). It's really quiet (I rode Debica, Pirelii, Michelin and Barum). From the aforesaid it is the best. The price is only a deterrent. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Every year I buy a new set of tyres because I do a lot of miles every year, different one each year. This year, Falken. In early 2010, I bought new Falken ZE912-revelation, so I decided to buy winter also. So far I've done since the beginning of October 4500 miles. In my opinion, much better than the Fulda and Kleber, and the price more or less the same. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I was excited untill the snow felt down. When I had to drive during winter on roads full of snow Falkens behaves like summer tyres. Dear manufacturers, it is not a big thing to make a tyre that drives brilliant on dry road. From the winter tyre I expect much more. My previous tyres were Bridgestone and unfortunately for Falkens the difference is huge. Read more Collapse

Difficult to evaluate tyre mounted in a car equipped with all the modern safety systems (ESP, ABS, etc.) generally it is worth recommending in that price 70 GBP / pcs I think that for this price you cannot find anything better. I go fairly fast and the good rating in contemporary conditions in winter 2009/2010 is a very good score. Read more Collapse

I chose that kind of tyre because I read a lot of positive reviews and my mechanic told me to buy them. My answer is: I am very satisfied, very silent, and very confident. I drove about 800 miles so the rest of my "think-overs" I would state after winter season. I recommend. The price is awesome. Read more Collapse

The road performance ok, Falken HS 439 does not behave well in starting with the snow. The ice as ice - does not leave us without words. With snow chains on snow have to be careful. The wet-OK. I have not tested at speeds above 120 km / h - for now just driving around town. The biggest problem so far is been shown to mount the tires on rims and tires very hard - the profile is very low so it does not seem strange, but during installation you have tried a lot to put the tire on the rim (is entered only after having lubricated well and increased to more than 5) As far as I'm concerned, it should not be so - so, not for the road comportamneto not buy you a second time. As for winter driving - is OK and because the purpose was this. Maybe even the alloy wheels - (Dotz) have had the problem even if the tire dealer told me he has already mounted on the kind of circle so many times of different tires and have never had problems - I can not believe it-on same circle-on the same model we fitted the Goodyear and it was normal. If you buy should buy in the shop, where one goes immediately on the rim - if there are problems we can immediately take other tire-it is easier to make the claim directly from the tire and through the courier. Opinion from outside the UK

In my opinion, one of the best winter tires in terms of the behavior on the road, without snow, said while the snow is excellent. When I on tires 5000 km. drove in the winter season on wet and dry roads, I've found that is virtually impossible to consume. I have a comparison with the Snowsport Pirelli and Michelin (can not remember the model) made and I can certainly recommend Hawks as the better tires. Comparable performance on snow, but on dry and wet conditions is best between expensive branded goods. With these tires I drive in winter 100% safe. I Drive, where I want to and do not be afraid to curves, etc. Once I abnutze summer tires (Uniroyal RainSport2), I buy certainly Hawks for the summer a friend goes with these tires already third year (summer + winter), drives certainly 2 years, because these tires are not much worn. In summary, better tires so cheap price you will not find. I recommend. Read more Collapse

I just want to emphasize that the capacity of only 1.8, but by far bought much more power than the original :) tires on this website. Within a week I'm a little more than 2,000 km on this tire. In Danzig was snowing and raining in the meantime already .. In dry conditions, the tire behaves correctly. On the wet feel no difference from summer tires Goodyear Excellence. When driving on snow and slush very good grip - driving in the right direction - good brakes. After 2000 km there is not possible to evaluate this parameter. When it comes to the look, I like these tires, but this is the matter of taste :) So far I had in winter ContiWinterContact TS810 Continental and Goodyear Ultra Grip 7, and despite the fact that there are good brands, I think that falcon does not depart from them! Welcome. On these two winter tires I drove, I live in London so that was driven route to Polish and back to the trip in the Polish mountains alps in winter and skiing in Livigno. After Mazury land of 1000 km per year on average. So far, I drove about 17000 km. I will say this tire good, decent stick to the road slush very ok, kopny snow satisfactorily-time I had to wear chains in the Alps but it's normal. my driving style on the average estimate pollination is not as stupid on the highway in the winter but the 130-140 can ride on them as compacted snow is fired up to 100km. Check with Parking in without a problem. Personally, I can not recommend Clincher. Earlier mialme black Fulda and was also ok, but what surprised me is a small fuel tank! I think that even leisurely two winters on them posmigam. Read more Collapse

On dry flawless, same on the wet asphalt. As compared with Pirelli Sotto Zero, under such conditions there was no fault anything. Sudden braking or fast bypassing obstacles always without a problem. The snow and slush, unfortunately, clearly worse. Fresh snow on the wet I happened to have a problem with you emerge from a small recess and nearly ended up sliding into a ditch. Snow level road gave cope, but they placed the 180 horses a bit too high expectations - TCS solve this problem easily. Durable tires for two seasons (about 20 tkm) and probably withstand two more if they were not stolen. Read more Collapse

In these tires, I drove all winter under different conditions (cities, mountains, etc.) I am very happy, no problem. Yes only once had a problem that has occurred, and only once, it was the ice but ice are good only spikes. Whether dry, the snow and slush, the tires are very good on any road. No problem in the mountains, I have no chain used, although the others (not all, of course) under the same conditions, needed the chains. Over the winter I have about 10,000 km on the clock, the Sense of consumption can not be seen. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend Falken HS 439th Read more Collapse

I drive SUV 4x4, and the fact that the so-called brand tires (only with I drive) is currently in Romania, Turkey, etc. are produced, I decided to Japanese tire Falken buy, citing opinions of User. I have no special features expected and here a surprise. Fantastic tires in every respect. Exceptionally comfortable, quiet and everything. Advice for the buyers: One must first go 200km to trace the silicone layer. at the beginning, when you have some problems, I suggest a little patience. Excellent product. Seller persuaded me really, to buy the Hawks, to the end of the conversation, I was not convinced to buy the tires of the same brand - but made me do the annual insurance led to mechanical damage and the origin of the goods for sale. The tire is produced only in Japan, which is a big plus for me. When it comes to the driving impression, I am very pleasantly surprised. Tires course in order! Look well made and rubber gives the impression of a higher class. Despite the low profile, I had no difficulty in driving in winter conditions. You have to give a lot of effort to get the tires off the road. When it comes to driving on dry roads, I do not see any differences in the behavior of summer tires in the same class. The tire is running quietly and well. Beautifully emphasizes the character of the car. I recommend to all buyers who are undecided. The tire is well worth the price. greetings Read more Collapse

For wet and dry handling and braking asphalt flawless at all speeds. Snow compared to previous Pirelli Sotto Zero lot worse. Serious problems occurred on a small slope with you emerge - wet, packed snow, heavy car. Handling and braking on snow (with the help of ASR) did not cause problems, but again, Pirelli were clearly better. Noise as winter tires - a clear but not annoying. Durability - drove two seasons, would give advice even one or two no problem, if they were not stolen. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

In this price range is the absolute hit. I before buying a lot of tires for my SUV Suzuki Grand Vitara reviewed in 2010 and the tire has caught my attention. The tire I have the winter from the beginning until today, March 2012 used, including a stay in the mountains in a very snowy period and can say: no problems. Of course, when braking on ice any tire problems, but thanks to ABS system I've accidents avoided! Recommended! Read more Collapse

I bought them quickly because I made a slit in Nokian WR G2, and to be honest, I was shocked, because I almost keep the same as Nokia, go great! At the same time I drive with two other cars with new tires - Kangoo with Dayton and Getz with Barum and honestly I have to say that the two tires trash are zero traction. Only when I go into my car to work, I feel that I drive. I recommend Hawks with a clear conscience. Read more Collapse

The tire is not suitable for snow and ice, quite good for wet and good for dry weather. If someone goes in it does not make sense to buy because they will have trouble moving off and braking on snow, on the way knows only go straight and with a hand on his shoulder (in terms of snow). As for driving on wet and dry is wmiarę about noise practically non-existent, very stable at high speeds, low rolling resistance. Read more Collapse

I have never had such a miserable tyre So miserable snow tyres on in my life I had. The Skoda ride a Continentalach. The Renault had Semperity. Both directional. In view of the asymmetric Falken tyres are like rubber spikes to year. Falken in the snow is the worst crap I have ever met. Slips, does not hold, the car can stand bends sideways. The tire FALKEN have me very pleasantly surprised, just bought. I was able to test them in the snow, frost, mud and steep slopes. In the above-mentioned weather conditions they cope well and therefore are still very quiet. [I have summer tires from Fulda and louder]. Very reasonable price for the high quality. When it comes to the resistance, I can evaluate only after the winter season. Read more Collapse
