Dunlop SportMaxx RT is a tyre for demanding drivers who appreciate the highest driving quality and uncompromising performance in any situation. This model is designed for fast sports cars, and especially those with high-engine power.

This model is equipped with an asymmetric tread, which makes it achieve excellent performances both on dry and wet roads. The centre rib improves steering precision and an asymmetric distribution of grooves allows grip to be maintained, even on very wet surfaces. All this makes the Dunlop SportMaxx RT perform perfectly and dynamically not only on a straight road, but also when cornering too.

The flat tread pattern provides a greater tread-to-road footprint, which translates into more perfect traction and more precise steering. This tyre is equipped with a system to protect the rim so the Dunlop SportMaxx RT doesn't deform during accidental kerb collisions. A rubber compound of silica allows an increase in acceleration and a reduction in rolling resistance, which boosts fuel economy.

This tyre was designed for sporty and dynamic driving, so it has better control when cornering, a quick response to driver inputs, and an excellent performance on wet surfaces. All this makes the Dunlop SportMaxx RT satisfy drivers who like to drive at high speeds.

Dunlop's history dates back to 1888, when John Dunlop invented and patented the first pneumatic tyre. Currently, the British brand is owned by Goodyear, which also manages brands such as Fulda, Sava, Arrowspeed.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tyres more than half a year ago. I admit that I wasn’t sure if I should buy Dunlop tyres as I heard some rumors concerning premature tyre wear. I am positively surprised because rumors turned up to be just rumors. The tyres guarantee stability and excellent grip both on dry and wet surfaces. They are also very quiet what results in very comfortable driving. I recommend these tyres to all drivers who are looking for good and nice looking tyres. If I had to buy summer tyres again I would definitely choose Dunlop Sport Maxx RT. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Hello everyone! I bought Dunlop Sport Maxx RT tyres last year and I am fully satisfied. Even my wife, who often uses my car, has nothing against these tyres. She said they are are very quiet and comfortable. I was surprised with the behavior of the car on wet surfaces. They really are excellent rain tyres. I would buy them even if they cost more. They are worth the money. Read more Collapse

Very quiet tires. Even they bite into the asphalt. I lowered the car by 20mm, it is somewhat stiffer, and the tire cornering enter at eg. 70 kmh, where the previous tires I was afraid to go 50kmh. Overall, I highly recommend. Read more Collapse
