It didn't snow much last winter so I could not compare them to my winter tyres. I can tell you that they have been o.k. through a British summer and did not turn jelly like as my winters did if the temperature rises above 20 deg. C. in an early heat wave.
The fronts do show some wear but the price was keen so if I had to by two more I would still think I had made a good buy. Yes I would recommend these as general purpose tyres and if it snows this winter I may be able to find out if I can get up the long hill to where I live and if I do I will not need too store winters anymore, here's hoping.
my car former tyres are Good Year. before have a decision to change into different brand not sure to select Good Year or other brand. exsisting brand 4 off them will be to cotly then when compare FALKEN technical details with Gyear & red the review of exsiting customers due to huge price difference decided to chose FALKEN. as said iam ver happy about my selection and will recommand to my friends and family
I've done about 6000 miles now and no real complaints good in rain, alright in dry and haven't tested them in the snow yet. The only small niggle I have is I just had to swap the rear tyres with the front tyres a bit earlier than usual due to wear.
Since I purchased these tyres for the front of my Citroen I really cannot say a bad thing about them, now we are entering winter and colder temperatures I still cannot find anything to complain about so in my book they are value for money
Good value for money, harsher ride than my original tyres but these are a lower profile and higher load rating giving very stiff sidewalls.
I hope the deep open tread pattern will make them suitable for mud and snow in the coming winter.

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
