245/45 R16 Tyres

245/45 R16 tyres are installed in sports cars. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall in a form of a string of numbers and the letter "R" which denotes the tyre's radial construction. The first number informs about the tread width of the tyre. The number is provided in millimetres and in the case of the 245/45 R16 tyre it equals 245 mm. The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width (45% out of 245 mm).
