205/70 R14 Tyres

205/70 R14 are installed in passenger cars and delivery vehicles. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall where it is easily noticed in a form of a string of signs. The first number denotes the tread width of the tyre. The number is provided in millimetres and in the case of the 205/70 R14 tyre it equals 205 mm. The second number equals the percentage ratio between the tyre's height and its tread width. In this case it is 70% out of the 205 mm of tread width. The last number denotes the diameter of the wheel rim (provided in inches) on which the tyres should be installed (here 14''). The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
