185/60 R16 Tyres

185/60 R16 tyres are designed for family cars and executive cars. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall alongside other labels. The first number informs about the tread width of the 185/60 R16 tyre and it is provided in millimetres. In this case it is 185 mm. The second number equals the percentage ratio between the tyre's profile height and its tread width. The value is provided in percentages (60% out of 185 mm). The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction. The third number provides in inches the diameter of the wheel rim on which the tyre of this size should be installed (here 16'').
