Reason for buying the tyres was to change from a different P Zero tyre which was the worst tyres I had ever had on a vehicle. The previous tyres were expensive, they were noisy, the dealership said they were the tyres recommended by the manufacturer, at 400 quid a pop, they came with the vehicle from new & I had to change them at less than 6000 miles twice, they were way too expensive to change that often. My new tyres are 100% more durable at half the price, they seem to run smoother & quieter in wet & dry conditions. I certainly recommend the new tyres for any type of SUV.

Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season 265/45 R21 108 Y M+S, XL, ZR, JLR
Looking for a premium summer tyre that can also cope with occasional winter conditions? The Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season is the model that allows drivers to enjoy the best performance regardless of the prevailing weather.
Tyre structure
The 4 longitudinal grooves allow water to be dispersed efficiently and quickly from under the tyre face, keeping the model in perfect contact with the road and effectively minimising the risk of skidding or aquaplaning.
Noise reduction
The tyre has been engineered so that its performance does not increase noise over long distances.
Asymmetric thread
The division of the tread into an inner and an outer zone guarantees excellent grip in corners, even at higher speeds, and optimal performance of the model during heavy rainfall.
The Pirelli brand is one of the best known in the world. The company's offer includes tyres for passenger cars, delivery vans, four-wheel-drive cars, sport cars, trucks and motorcycles. The brand specializes in the production of premium-class tyres that combine maximum performance with impeccable build quality.
Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
