I did not use these tyres much as I have bought them at the end of winter, however, these are one of the best tyres I have ever had. Pirelli Scorpion Winter tyres behave great on roads in winter and provide a lot of confidence and safety in various weather conditions. I didn’t have to change my driving style into more cautious because of the season. I will be recommending them to other drivers.

The tyres are great in all conditions. Compared to other tyres of good brands that I used earlier, Pirelli Scorpion Winter tyres perform very good on snow and ice. Moreover, they are silent . On dry asphalt there’s no rumbling like in case of many other winter tyres. It significantly reduces wear and increases comfort . I would recommend these tyres, especially those who appreciate comfort.

Unfortunately we did not have any severe weather or snow this winter so can't comment on snow grip but very happy with the wear, noise, price and general use, grip in the dry may just be marginally less than the normal tyres but I could simply be imagining this. I've left them on car as they seem to be wearing well enough to keep going through next winter.

I've used Pirelli Scorpion Winter tyres for 6 years and I can definitely say that they are durable and effective. At that time in winter I made distance of approximately 30-40 thousand miles and the tread was still 8 mm. Good behavior of the vehicle on both snow and wet surfaces. Buying these tyres was an excellent choice.

There is not much choice in this category for me as I needed run-flats, but the Pirellis seem really decent. I only use this tyre from November to April so cannot give lots of experience regarding extensive dry driving. Good tyre, decent enough for light offroad, fine in the mountains (-10), reasonable on snow.

Pirelli Scorpion Winter 255/45 R20 105 V XL, FR
Technical description:
The Pirelli Scorpion Winter is a winter tyre designed for passenger cars with high-output engines, and makes an ideal choice for drivers who prefer an aggressive driving style. Like most of Pirelli's tyres, it is positioned at the premium end of the market. It features a directional tread with a complex arrangement of grooves and blocks which deliversoutstanding drivability in challenging conditions, including on wet and snowy roads. By maintaining superb grip and steerability and rapidly dispersing water and snow from under the wheels, the tyre also guarantees a very high level of safety, including going round corners and performing sudden manoeuvres. The tyre is also notable for its low rolling resistance, which makes it possible to unlock the engine's full potential and reduce fuel consumption.
Manufacturer details:
The Italian-owned Pirelli is chiefly famous for manufacturing tyres for sports vehicles, including Formula 1 cars. Pirelli tyres are regarded as premium-range products, which testifies to their outstanding quality. The company builds on almost 150 years of experience in the industry and uses cutting-edge manufacturing technologies to launch many pioneering tyre solutions.
Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
