I do a lot of Motorway driving and a lot of farm track driving, I have been using the Maxtrek tyres for the last 4 years for summer use only, I switch to winter tyres in November each year. They offer a good performance in both dry and wet conditions, and are quite quiet on my Volvo XC90. An excellent value for money tyre, I can not justify paying more for premium brand tyres when I get such a good performance from these. I used to have Goodyear tyres on it before the Maxtrek and I have not noticed any difference in performance.

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
