I drove half a season, so it's hard for me to express an opinion about their durability but I can say that they met their expectations - they are much quieter than their predecessors ( previous owner of the car was driving on Thai tyres, which proved to be surprisingly durable). The car runs nicely, you can see that Goodyear is more suitable for a volvo, even as old as mine (2002). I didn't actually go outside, I don't have an off-road car, only car matched to terrain condditions - that's the difference. I need 4x4 in the winter on the mountains, but then I will set up winter yokohama tyres. Greetings

This is my third summer tyre with this car (150000km). The previous two sets were those with which car was sold from the showroom, branded, Japanese tyres. Compared to the previous ones, they are quieter, they suppress better and the car consumpts less, especially on the road (the difference is significant so I'm surprised). In the field, the car performs well on wet surfaces. Weaker than on previous tyres in the mud. Braking distance on dry gravel is longer and car "flows" a bit.

These are pretty good and I would recommend them. But they do squeal when cornering hard on tarmac and let’s face it Freelanders don't corner that hard! Although I suppose it could be the soft suspension on Freelanders causing the squeal rather than the tyres. So overall I'd give a good score. I haven't driver off road so can't give "terrain" impressions On the subject of tyre suppliers Oponeo are cheaper than anywhere else and deliver fast in the UK.

Tyres much better than the previous, branded ones. They are very quiet or actually you can not hear them at all. They well suppress inequalities of the road and show off their advantages in the field. They are not run flats so on the road at higher speeds it floats a little, but only above 150km / h and with sharp maneuvers to change lane or direction. Generally I am very satisfied and I truly recommend it.

Driving on these tyres is a 100% guarantee of a safe ride on both dry and wet surfaces. Also checked during heavy rainstorms, when streams of water flowed along the road, I did not have to take my feet off the gas. I rated impressions of off-road driving on "3", but only because there was no "I do not evaluate" option

Technology description: Goodyear Efficientgrip SUV tyres is the perfect product for SUVs and/or 4x4 vehicles. The tyres are distinguished by a short braking distance on dry and wet surfaces, high durability, driving precision and fuel saving. The model is produced using Fuel Saving technology which directly translates into a lower fuel consumption due to reduced rolling resistance. The tyre is lightweight but with its modern material make up, it is also highly resistant to different types of mechanical damage. Its special tread was made with a clever use of resins which improve traction and consequently the tyre's grip even when braking on wet roads.

Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.

Wet grip

Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.

Noise
