Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO DriveGuard 225/50 R17 98 V RUN ON FLAT XL
Weather Control A005 EVO DriveGuard are multi-season premium tyres from Bridgestone. They are designed for passenger cars, SUVs and 4x4 vehicles. The aim of the engineers from the Japanese concern was to create tyres that would work all year round and in all weathers. They have decided to use a durable compound that will last even longer than previous models.
With their directional "V" tread, Weather Control A005 EVO DriveGuard achieve very high grip in the rain. In turn, when the snow falls, the deep grooves in the tyre will be invaluable, significantly improving grip in freezing conditions. The model, in accordance with EU and UN regulations, meets the standards for winter tyres and is labelled 3PMSF.
Bridgestone is a tyre company with roots in Japan. It is currently considered to be the largest company in the industry, with over 140 factories in over 20 different countries. For years now, it has been producing premium class tyres, which have been appreciated by drivers and experts alike, as evidenced by numerous awards in annual tests. The company has also marked its presence in motorports, e.g. Formula 1 or Moto GP, of which it was the exclusive tyre supplier for some time.

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
