Bridgestone Turanza T002 215/45 R17 87 W Prius
Bridgestone Turanza T002 are premium summer tyres. Designed specially for Toyota Prius 2016, they were the result of the cooperation between Bridgestone and Toyota, which makes them the perfect choice for vehicles of that make. The presented tyres perfectly match the vehicle characteristics, which translates into a stable and comfortable driving. The model refers to Turanza T001, recommended by ADAC and awarded in numerous tests.
The presented tyres are fitted with an asymmetric tread. It is divided into external and internal sections. The former provides grip on dry roads and stability during cornering. The other section is responsible for water drainage, which reflects in the tyre’s resistance to aquaplaning and short braking distances on wet surfaces.
Bridgestone Turanza T002 uses the “Triple and a half Groove” technology, which involves a special arrangement of tread grooves that enhance driving precision and improve driving comfort. With this, you will always easily make any sudden manoeuvre or pass a sharp corner, and you will not be disturbed by any noise generated by the tyres. This solution allows for convenient and calm driving on long routes.
Information on the manufacturer:
Bridgestone is a Japanese tyre group regarded as one of the largest and most important players in the industry. Their tyres are valued both by regular drivers and experts. This is proved e.g., by the awards received in tests conducted worldwide, the fact that they are fitted as standard on many vehicle models and were for many years supplied to Formula 1 race cars.
Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
