Potenza Sport are summer tyres intended for passenger cars, SUVs, and cars equipped with a 4x4 drive. They were made by the Japanese company Bridgestone and belong to the premium class. They were made to allow drivers to reach maximum performance while maintaining safety and full control of the vehicle. Therefore, they are particularly recommended for the sports segment, and users interested in high-performance driving. The exclusivity of the model is confirmed by the fact that it is original equipment of the most prestigious brands, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche or Maserati.
The tyre has an asymmetric tread pattern. This design helps maintain vehicle control when driving straight ahead and exiting corners. The ribs and grooves are positioned for the most efficient drainage. Also, the three-dimensional sipes have a positive impact on the braking distance and traction when overcoming curves.
The profile of Potenza Sport and the modern rubber compound used in production increase the car's grip, improve braking efficiency and make the tyre wear evenly.
Due to the number of technological solutions used in the model, Potenza Sport obtained the following in tests:

1) TÜV SÜD tests carried out on behalf of Bridgestone in July and August 2020 in the Bridgestone EUPG facilities (Italy) on dry and wet roads in the Audi S4 3.0 TFSI with 245/40 R18 tyres. Potenza Sport compared to the performance of the main competitors in the same segment: Continental PremiumContact 6, Michelin Pilot Sport 4, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, Pirelli P Zero PZ4. 2) Maintaining vehicle stability when driving straight ahead and taking corners. Stability when driving straight ahead rating: Bridgestone Potenza Sport (9.33), Continental Premium Contact 6 (9.00), Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (8.67), Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 (8.67), Pirelli P Zero PZ4 (8.56).
