I have been using Yokohama AE50 tyres for several months now. So far I can say this much - they perform great on wet pavement as well as dry pavement. They give us a good grip even at low temperatures and in the rain on days like this. Now it will be warmer - and therefore better for these tyres. After all, they are summer tyres - not winter tyres. The tyre has several wheel rim protectors, which is certainly a plus. The tyre has very good noise reduction, which is certainly noticeable on the motorway compared with the previous tyre. The AE50 version (model) can cope with a Vmax of 210/240 km/h, which, from the characteristics of the tyre and the intended use - sports cars - is another plus. In general: quiet, good grip, durable after almost a year of use (I will let you know) how things will look after years.

The tyre is performing superbly so far. Although I ordered other Yokohama, i.e. A01, and when I received the shipment I was scared because I got ae50, I was afraid they would be noisy and less economical (I did not know them). I decided to give them a try, put them on and drive around. I've been driving since the beginning of March, almost half a year now, but I'm happy with them, they smooth out the bumps super well and on the car's computer I've finally dropped my shown fuel consumption by 0.3l so far. Maybe it's not much, but last year I was driving on michelin and the magic 8l per 100km couldn't drop on the computer. I know the computer isn't a good reference for fuel consumption (especially with me), but since it moved down on these tyres it means something. The noise from them is practically comparable to the previous tyres (rated at about 100km/h), so I think I've gained in fuel economy so far. I think I'll look back here next year and describe the tyres in more detail how they've performed over that time.

I bought Yokohama AE50 summer tyres somewhat at random. The dealership offered cheaper models from other companies, but I chose these. The tyres are outstanding. They grip like glue. No matter if dry or wet. They Brake spectacularly, bite into the asphalt, in a way. The racing company and the tyre's performance confirms this. One more thing - the tyre has a special rim protection edge, which is very useful when parking near a kerb. To sum up - I like outstanding things, and this shot turned out to be a "10". Yokohama certainly earns its trust. I will buy again.

the tyres are quiet and OK at first, uncertain handling on larger puddles, but they do the job, maybe not cutting through like the rainsport 2 puddles but at speeds close to 100 on larger puddles they do the job. but for me I expected better drainage with the "A" rating As the tyre is used longer, discomfort with grip, and braking increases. They quickly lose grip when driving aggressively.
