I hope to get another winter out of them if I'm careful in the next few months. They didn't see too much heavy snow last winter (skiing in France) so can't be too definitive on that. ~They did get worn over the summer (rather hot at times) and seemed to cope well, although wear was probably a little higher than if Id changed to summer tyres. Oversteer could be a problem for some, but possibly it also depends on the car. My advice would be to get two on the front and if not happy just switch them to the back.

Vredestein Quatrac 5 is much quieter than its predecessor, this is an excellent all-season tyre on dry and wet surfaces.

Very good tyres for the money. Brilliant for the wet and windy conditions of the UK and good in the extreme winter too. Have done over 10.000 miles on them since January and still good for another 10 so great on the long performance and value for money. No more carrying 2 sets of tyres for winter and summer anymore for me. I live 400 metres up in the valleys of Wales and drive all over the southwest. Tyres get the extremes of all conditions. As good as the best winter tyres and 80 per cent as good as the best brand of summer tyres. Will slide very slightly in very hot dry dusty roads but then again what tyres don't. In the rain these are unbeatable which is 50 per cent of the U.K. a climate

They have a good grip on all the surfaces even if they will never be as specific tires for the season, but they are a good compromise for those who do not want to have two sets of tires, are very quiet and do not increase the fuel consumption, for duration for now I cannot yet evaluate them

This is my second set of Vredestein all season tyre, the first set lasted 38.000 miles This set has traveled 3000+ miles 2000 miles on mainl land Europe including Austria with Snow and Slush. This is the best set of tyres I have had on my car, including the original Skoda summer tyres. Less road noise and at least 4-5% more miles per gallon of Diesel

Tyre worth recommending. Driving conditions - dry / very wet surface. In the area route / mountains / city. Perfectly drain water, very good adhesion, braking without a problem. If so and in winter conditions. This is finally the end of the changing tyres every season. Cannot rate them for winter driving as yet. Can’t wait to test them in winter.
