Quatrac was my shot of tires for years now, Quatrac 3 looks just as good as the old versions only quieter. They seem to get quite expensive.

i prefer winter / all year tyres for extra tread depth and grip in adverse conditions . These I highly recommend , 5000 miles so far and no obvious signs of wear
