I have used these tyres for 3 years, now into my 2nd set. 20,000miles on the front is easily achieved. Best wet weather tyre I have ever driven and I have driven 100's of thousands of miles with all major branded UK available tyres. These tyres are now on my wife's car (Focus)and she is more confident in wet / cold weather. Don't be fooled into thinking they are as good as a full winter tyre as they are not but as a compromise they are far superior to any 'normal' tyre in the mixed winter we have in the UK. For me a worthwhile investment but don't wait until the winter to buy them as stocks go quickly. You can import and have them fitted though.

Vredestein Quatrac 3 is a product that is inconvenient for all fitting stations. They are really good and the attriction is low. My style of driving is not very agressive. I am not retired granny- I like driving fast, but I match my driving style to weather conditions. This tire isn't for those who drive 150MPH but for those wo drive 100 MPH. Vredesteins cannot be compared to UniroyalRainExperts during rain but it is not a big issue as you can still drive 90MPH and be totaly safe. They are a bit noisy over 90MPH but its not a big problem. It damps all road holes very well. During the summer you can feel the rubber softness but it shouldn't bother you. They offer confidence in corners. I realy recommend them.

Very good tyres. I use such tyres for 7 years and they match every weather condition. You dont need to have 2 sets of tyres - comfort and huge savings. Vredestein Quatrac 3 are worth my recommendation.

They are a very good tire in the dry, wet and light snow / slush. They tend to be a bit noisy on the road tarmac / asphalt, but on gravel roads, you can not hear anything except the gravel noise. They tend to roll on the corners, but it is not noticeable to correct you on your direction. Good braking distances on asphalt / concrete roads. I use them on all cars in the household throughout the year so they tend to wear down to the markers around the 35-40k which is the only complaint I have about them, but it depends on the size / weight of vehicle you drive. I use a small runabout for everyday driving, but a large people carrier when children go places. The little car door down for about 48 markers while K + transport people is hitting the markers on the 35 + K so it depends on your driving style and vehicle weight.
